Daily passes are $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for students. Passes will get you in all locations. A lost or stolen pass is not refundable and you must purchase a new one. Players must have their hand stamped each day. This allows players not in uniform to have access in all locations. Players may have stamps reapplied through out the event.
The entry fee for Nationals is $295.00 and must be paid by Monday July 11, 2011. Teams may have earned discounts by playing in previous events or by winning a Super- Regional Tournament. No refunds after Monday the 18th. Team entry fee includes 2 coaches weekend passes. Passes are wrist bands and must be worn. Additional coaches, clock keeper or score keepers must purchase a pass of their choice.
Each team must complete an online registration. You may make changes to your rosters by emailing changes, but no later than Wed. the 20th or in person at the Fanfare Thursday the 21st at UCA Farris Center between 3:30-5:30. Rosters will be set and no other players will be eligible. Please include all players’ names, school and grade.
HoopPlayUSA.com is grade based. The grade you compete in is the grade just completed in the 2010/11 school year. There are no grade or age exceptions. Example, Team A is a 6th grade team and everyone on the team is 12 years old except 1 player who is 11 in the 7th grade. This makes you compete in the 7th grade division. Players can not compete on two or more teams in the same grade division and can not play down in a grade that is below the grade just completed. However, a player may compete on two teams in different divisions. Example, a 6th grader can play in the 6th grade division and play up in the 7th grade or high division. Players that graduated in 2011 are eligible until September 1st.
Coaches must have a school report card, transcript, a principal letter or a school year book. Year books are acceptable and are preferred. Birth certificates are not acceptable. You have to show proof or the player is ineligible until proof is submitted. We will not hold games up while proof is being found. Please have documents with you at all times.
Protest must be made to the site directors or the Director of Officials by the head coach only. The protest must be made before the game and/or before the end of the game that is in question. Protest fee is $100.00 and must be paid to register the complaint. The fee will be refunded if the objection is sustained. No protest will be recognized by a coach protesting a game, player or team that is not competing in that division. If a player is found ineligible the team will take a forfeit for each game the player has played in. The team may continue in the tournament, without the ineligible player. No protest will be heard regarding referee calls after the game is completed.
A coach is responsible for his/her team and their fans conduct. Let’s be professional at all times. A coach that is ejected in a game is eligible to coach the next game but the coach that has been ejected 2 times in the same event will not be allowed to coach for the remaineder of the event. A team without a designated coach will forfeit the rest of the tournament. A parent or assistant coach may coach the remainder of the tournament.
There are no warnings for fans. A fan that has been ejected from a game may return for the next game only if the site director permits the return. There are NO REFUNDS.
We will use several air conditioned courts through out Conway and Greenbrier. Teams that play the first game each day will be allowed in 30 minutes before tip-off, no earlier. See the tournament schedule for complete list of gyms and courts.
